SPOKANE, WA (January 21, 2014) -- Global Credit Union is launching an innovative and improved online banking system today complete with new products and security features to make home banking more efficient, secure and user friendly.
Global’s new online banking platform, eBranch, delivers improved service to members by providing enhanced security features such as individualized challenge questions that confirm the user’s identity and a more comprehensive registration process.
This new eBranch allows members to customize their page preferences. Members can reorganize their online banking pages to reflect what they want to see.
The most advanced and remarkable feature that Global’s online banking will encompass is the Personal Financial Management (PFM) Spending tool. With the PFM Spending tool, members can now create a budget and track spending habits to meet their financial goals.
Similar to Mint.com, members can also monitor savings goals, view income statement information, check on cash flow data and much more with the PFM Spending tool.
Members of Global Credit Union will now have the ability to sign up for online banking from Global’s website at their convenience anytime, day or night instead of coming into a branch.
As Global looks to the future, a continued goal for the Credit Union is to improve efficiency and accessibility for members. With another online project slated to launch in March, Global is invested in keeping up with this ever-growing consumer demand of technological innovation..
