LOWELL, MA (February 21, 2014) -- Align is pleased to announce that Maureen Couture has joined the mortgage team as an Assistant Vice President of Home Financing and Business Development.
Maureen has been in the banking industry for over 20 years, 17 of which have been at local credit unions in various roles. Most recently she served as a Senior Mortgage Originator at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union in Lowell. She has a comprehensive knowledge of not only the mortgage industry, but all areas of banking. She began her career as a Member Service Representative, moving all the way up to Regional Branch Administrator. In 2006, she successfully transitioned to home financing and has generated over $75 million dollars in originated mortgages in the Merrimack Valley in the last three years. Active in the community, she is a member of the Lowell Rotary Club, the Greater Lowell and Merrimack Valley Chambers of Commerce and Northeast Association of Realtors (NEAR) and has been a presenter for the Merrimack Valley Housing Partnership and Project Genesis.
Working out of Align’s headquarters in Downtown Lowell at 40 Market Street and the Haverhill branch at 20 Cushing Avenue, Maureen will serve Members throughout Lowell and the Merrimack Valley. She will work to deliver a variety of home financing solutions, including new loans and refinances as well as home equity loans and lines of credit.
