United Heritage employees raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas

AUSTIN, TX (March 10, 2014) – A group of  24 United Heritage Credit Union employees donated a total of 49 hours of their time to participate in Trudy’s Bowl for Kids on Sunday, March 2, 2014. The employees raised $2,758 in donations from individuals and $1,600 from United Heritage Charity Foundation. All funds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas.

Trudy’s Bowl for Kids is an annual Austin-area bowl-a-thon fundraiser that has provided financial support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas for over 30 years. The theme this year was Cowboys vs. Zombies. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit organization that provides nurturing mentor relationships for children facing adversity.

United Heritage actively supports local communities through the charitable work of Team United Heritage, an employee volunteer group, and United Heritage Charity Foundation.
