For existing homeowners, Align has recently partnered with Mass Save® as a participating lender in their HEAT Loan Program. This program provides borrowers with 0% interest financing for home improvements that increase energy efficiency. Loans are available in amounts up to $15,000 with terms of up to 7 years. Qualified improvements include insulation, high efficiency heating systems, central air conditioning, hot water systems, digital thermostats and ENERGY STAR® Qualified Replacement Windows. Align has also been awarded a $150,000 grant to help first-time buyers secure a home of their own. Qualified borrowers can receive up to $10,000 towards a downpayment or closing costs.
