Ent awards 2014 Youth Endowment Series Grants to 15 non-profit agencies in the Pikes Peak Region

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (April 16, 2014) – Ent Federal Credit Union awarded 15 non-profit agencies in the Pikes Peak Region a total of $45,000 through its 2014 Youth Endowment Series (YES) program grants.

The recipient agencies include:

  • Children’s Hope Chest – The Joel Home
  • Fostering Hope
  • Drive Smart Colorado
  • Greccio Housing
  • Year One Inc., doing business as Mile High Youth Corps Colorado Springs
  • Special Kids Special Families
  • TESSA
  • Care and Share Pikes Peak Region
  • Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
  • Partners in Housing
  • Kidpower of Colorado
  • Inside Out Youth Services
  • Colorado Springs Teen Court
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado
  • Mountain Top Cycling Club

Introduced in 2000, the YES Grant program directs specific support to non-profit organizations benefitting children. The program has provided grants to more than 75 organizations in the Pikes Peak Region providing health and human services and serving other community needs.

Applications were evaluated by an employee panel based on the purpose for the grant and the projected benefit to the community, among other criteria.
