NEWBURGH, IN (April 21, 2014) -- Heritage Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Louis Carrico, secretary of the Board of Directors and Building Committee member, has successfully completed 18 courses of the CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program (VAP) and has received the Friedrich W. Raiffeisen Award and the Credit Union Services Award.
Louis has received these awards for his extraordinary dedication and effort in continuing his education in the Volunteer Education Program (VAP) to better serve credit union members. The CUNA Volunteer Achievement Program requires extensive training sessions, study, and coursework, and culminates in a variety of certification exams. These certifications will give Louis an advanced understanding of the issues that will affect our credit union. From daily operations to board governance, his increased ability to understand and analyze these critical issues will undoubtedly give him the insight to better serve the credit union’s 45,480+ members.
Ruth Jenkins, CCE, President and CEO of Heritage Federal Credit Union said, “Heritage Federal Credit Union is very proud to announce that Louis Carrico has earned another CUNA Volunteer Certification. Louis is taking his role at the credit union to the next level and should be applauded for his dedication and effort into achieving these awards.”
