United Heritage Members Enjoy Family Fun at Dell Diamond
AUSTIN, TX (May 27, 2014) -- Over the course of two Saturdays, April 5 and May 3, 2014, over 1000 United Heritage Credit Union members attended a Member Appreciation Night of their choice. The events were held in the United Heritage Conference Center at Dell Diamond, Round Rock, Texas. Credit Union members enjoyed a Round Rock Express baseball game, Beaker the United Heritage eagle mascot, face painters, balloon artists, hamburgers and hotdogs, ice cream and cookies, giveaways and a chance to win one of 27 valuable prizes. Credit Union members Richard Vasquez threw out the first pitch at the April event and Michael Welling threw out the first pitch at the May event.
United Heritage CEO, Buddy Schroeder, explains, “We host a family-friendly Credit Union Member Appreciation Event each year, but chose to offer two evenings this year. We wanted to expand our reach within the membership and to have the opportunity to engage with more members on a personal level. The events allowed us to put the focus on what makes a credit union special—its members.”
The event was attended by new and long-term Credit Union members of all ages. Tickets for the event were $5.00 per person and proceeds benefited the United Heritage Charity Foundation.
Drawing prizes at each event included iPad minis, iPod shuffle, iPod touch, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Kindle Fire, YETI Cooler, Nikon COOLPIX Digital Camera, gift cards up to $100 each and more.
