A+ FCU celebrates 65 years

Built on “People Helping People” Credit Union Philosophy
AUSTIN, TX (June 2, 2014)
-- A+ Federal Credit Union (A+FCU) celebrates 65 years of serving the Central Texas area with sound financial products and services, nationally recognized financial education programs and a commitment to educational initiatives for teachers and students.

Founded on May 31, 1949 by 50 teachers and administrators picnicking in Zilker Park, A+FCU has grown to one of the largest credit unions in Central Texas with over 113,000 members.

“With roots in education, it’s important to us to improve financial literacy within the communities we serve and guide our members to financial solutions that help them achieve their dreams,” said A+FCU CEO Kerry A. S. Parker.

For the 65th birthday, A+FCU is planning an Our Gift to You member appreciation and celebration through the month of June. Members who visit their branch will receive a gift to commemorate the occasion. Plus, the Credit Union will cover an A+FCU loan payment for 65 lucky members! Visit aplusfcu.org/65 for details and rules.
