LAKE JACKSON, TX (June 2, 2014) -- TDECU proudly hosted its annual Shred Day at two branch locations – the TDECU Lake Jackson Branch in Lake Jackson, Texas and the Victoria Mockingbird Branch in Victoria, Texas. Both events were a huge success, attracting a total of 377 vehicles, and collecting 16,000 pounds of documents to be shredded.
The event was a free service to the community and participants were encouraged to bring two
canned food items to benefit local food pantries. The TDECU Lake Jackson Branch collected 450 pounds of food to donate to the Brazoria County Dream Center. The TDECU Victoria Mockingbird Branch collected 195 pounds of food that was donated to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.
