Ed Turk named new HCCU Chief Executive Officer; current CEO Celeste Martinez to retire

(June 4, 2014) -- Heritage Community Credit Union is pleased to announce that Ed Turk has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer of HCCU, beginning June 2, 2014. He will replace outgoing CEO Celeste Martinez, who plans to retire in July 2014, after 40 years in the industry.

Sacramento, CA, April 8, 2014 – After an intensive search, the Board of Directors of Heritage Community Credit Union have selected Ed Turk to succeed Celeste Martinez.

Mr. Turk comes to HCCU with over 20 years of experience in the financial and credit union industry and has a strong background in Finance, Lending, Strategic Planning, Management and Operations. Most recently, he has served as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer for iQ Credit Union in Vancouver, Washington. His stints in executive positions throughout the past thirteen years have covered every aspect of credit union operations and development.
