ST. JOSEPH, MI (June 6, 2014) -- Emily Szymkiewicz has been appointed to the position of Branch Manager at the United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) flagship branch in St. Joseph, Mich. In her new role, Szymkiewicz will be responsible for providing operational leadership to branch staff, including staff development, retention, and growth of branch sales performance.
Szymkiewicz was previously Manager of the UFCU branch in Stevensville, Mich., where she oversaw consumer membership growth and community relations, provided staff leadership and cross-training, evaluated performance and maintained daily operations, enabling the department to function efficiently and provide quality Member service. Syzmkiewicz’s prior financial industry experience includes Assistant Branch Manager and Personal Banker duties at UFCU and JP Morgan Chase.
A native of Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich., Szymkiewicz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Management from Michigan State University in Lansing, Mich. She resides in St. Joseph, Michigan.
