WASHINGTON, DC (July 10, 2014) -- National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) President and CEO Dan Berger issued the following statement today regarding the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of Shaun Donovan to Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB):
“NAFCU congratulates Mr. Donovan on his confirmation,” said Berger. “We look forward to working with Mr. Donovan and OMB to help advance regulatory relief for credit unions and the benefits credit unions provide to the nation’s economy.”
Donovan was secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), but was selected to replace Sylvia Mathews Burwell at OMB after she took the job as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
