KINGSTON, NY (August 22, 2014) -- Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) employees presented the Ulster SPCA with a $2,000 donation and pet supplies on August 19. MHV employees at the credit union’s main branch on Morton Boulevard in Kingston recently held a fundraising campaign to benefit the Ulster SPCA.
Wayne Winkler, MHV President and CEO, states, “It’s part of the cooperative spirit of the credit union to help community organizations such as the Ulster SPCA and as part of our corporate culture, we strongly encourage our staff to pursue the charitable causes that are near and dear to them.”
MHV employees involved included Branch Manager, Patty Schnakenberg and Tellers, Jane Carpino, Sarah Perry and Megan Dewitt. TheMorton Boulevard branch staff held multiple fundraisers including a weekly 50/50 raffle, gift basket raffle, and Krispy Kreme Donut sale. Change cups were also placed at the Teller windows, and bins were placed in multiple locations in the lobby for pet supply donations.
