(August 21, 2014) -- America First Credit Union rallied behind students of Gibson Middle School with a back-to-school backpack and school supply drive on Wednesday, Aug. 20. In one of its most successful drives to date, employees of the not-for-profit, community-focused credit union donated more than 43 backpacks, 58 notebooks, 494 pencils, 205 pens, 30 folders and several other much-needed supplies for the underprivileged children of Gibson.
Upping the ante, America First purchased an additional 50 backpacks for the students for a grand total of 93 backpacks to help kick-off the school year.
