Chris Whalen joins the Credit Union League of Connecticut

MERIDEN, CN (September 25, 2014) – The Credit Union League of Connecticut has announced Chris Whalen as communication and public relations manager for the trade organization. In this position, Whalen is responsible for the overall communication and public outreach efforts by the League. He will work with Connecticut’s credit unions and bring awareness to consumers about the benefits of the financial cooperative movement.

Whalen brings to the League experience in marketing, social media, and brand awareness from Connex Credit Union. Whalen was recently the recipient of CO-OP Financial Services’ THINK Prize 14, a national credit union award. Whalen holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and an MBA in Business Policy and Strategic Leadership from the University of New Haven. He is currently a resident of Wallingford.
