INDIANAPOLIS, IN (November 12, 2014) -- Charlie King of Hoosier Hills Credit Union in Bedford is a recipient of the 2014 Emerging Leadership Award from the Indiana Credit Union League.
King is Senior Vice President of Administration and the Corporate Attorney at Hoosier Hills CU. He started at the credit union as a teller and has worked his way through a variety of positions on the way to his current role. King’s service to the credit union business in Indiana includes his position on the initial Board of Trustees for the CUCare Welfare Benefit Plan Trust, which was just established in January of this year.
The Emerging Leadership Award was developed in order to recognize the next generation of credit union leaders in Indiana for their accomplishments and for their potential to be an Indiana credit union leader in the future. King was honored October 17 during the Chairman’s Awards Banquet, a special event during the Indiana Credit Union League’s annual convention.
