DALLAS, TX (November 18, 2014) -- Tampa Postal Federal Credit Union ($72 million; 8,130 members; Tampa, FL) has recently been named the winner of CU Members Mortgage’s 2014 Q4 Marketing Achievement Award for promoting awareness and incentives to its members who currently applied for either purchase or refinance of a first mortgage. The campaign’s goal was to spur member awareness that Tampa Postal offers first mortgage loans – while providing a monetary incentive toward mortgage closing costs.
Tampa Postal’s awareness campaign consisted of members who qualified and were approved for a mortgage loan. They received up to $1,000 toward their closing costs. Currently, the credit union is waiting for these loans to close.
“It is an honor to be recognized by CU Members Mortgage,” states Tampa Postal’s Lending Manager Lorena Hollahan. “We have been business partners for decades and Tampa Postal appreciates this recognition.”
“We are very excited for Tampa Postal receiving this well-deserved award,” CU Members Mortgage Senior Vice President Linda Clampitt says. “Their ‘$1,000 Closing Costs’ campaign was the perfect promotion to wet their members’ appetites for a new home loan, which could also set them up nicely for the spring home buying season, as well. Many congratulations to them!”
