RIVERSIDE, CA (December 22, 2014) -- Altura Credit Union, headquartered in Riverside, Calif., has been named one of the best places to work in the Inland Empire by the largest local newspaper, The Press-Enterprise. The Inland Empire, which is about 60miles east of metro Los Angeles, encompasses the Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario metro area.
The Press-Enterprise published its inaugural list of 20 “Top Workplaces 2014” on Dec. 11, 2014. According to The Press-Enterprise, the Top Workplaces were determined based solely on employee feedback.
The survey of 3,000 employees in Riverside and San Bernardino counties was conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. It conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the U.S.

Altura is the largest credit union headquartered in Riverside County. It operates nine local branches, serves 83,000 members and has 249 employees.
