CU Members Mortgage, a division of Colonial Savings, F.A., continues to enhance its lending team, promoting Melissa Cruz as the new West Coast Loan Officer Manager to better serve credit unions and internal staff.
As the Loan Officer Manager, Cruz will grow internal teams to better serve credit unions. She will enhance the member experience with greater member education throughout the lending process and amplify communication by increasing touch point awareness and implementing new communication tactics for the team. Cruz will also focus on building credit union relationships by focusing on mortgage lending strategies that will grow production for individual credit unions and loan officers.
Cruz is a long-time employee of CU Members, beginning her career here in 2006. In this time, she’s held several positions within the division including loan officer. She is a multi-year President’s Club winner, exceeding $20 million in production several years in a row, and is personally focused on growing communities of home ownership across the country.
