NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and delivery firm, announces the appointment of Mark Maness to Regional Vice President of Business Development. Based in the Atlanta area, Mark’s primary responsibility will be to lead business development activities for the southeast region of the United States.
Mark will continue to grow NewGround’s portfolio by implementing long and short-term strategies to secure new business and identify additional opportunities with previous clients.
With more than 30 years of overall experience in sales and marketing, Mark worked for International Paper Distribution and served as co-owner of a full-service design/build construction business that helped develop community banks and credit unions across the southeast.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Georgia and attended International Paper’s Keystone Business School, an internal Executive MBA Program.
