Fort Knox Federal doubles 2019 pledges during Military Saves Week

Last week, Fort Knox Federal Credit Union was proud to participate once again in Military Saves Week, the movement that is motivating the military to save money, reduce debt, and build wealth.

Each year, Fort Knox Federal promotes savings to its military members through On-Post and Online savings information and pledge sheets. For 2019, the number of savings pledges for the week (February 25th through March 2nd) more than doubled to a total of 214 compared with 103 pledges the previous year.

“Fort Knox Federal Credit Union has always promoted savings to our military members and we’re so excited to continue to grow and expand these important efforts,” said Becky Ates, Executive Vice President of Fort Knox Federal Credit Union. “Military Saves Week is a great way to kick-off regular savings habits that can last a lifetime and improve the financial health of the military families we serve.”

Fort Knox Federal is deeply committed to serving the military community and empowering Kentuckians to make better financial decisions. In addition to our Military Saves Week participation, we offer financial literacy tools and valuable programs such as Operation Veteran 2 Entrepreneur throughout the year.
