Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) will be breaking ground on a new location in Centralia, Illinois on Tuesday, April 30th. LLCU has operated a branch within the Murray Center for several years, but it was a small office with limited access to members. The new, full-service, innovative branch is very accessible and easy to find, located at 234 N. Poplar Street in Centralia.
“We are very excited to move in to this new location that will aid us in better serving the Centralia community with all of their personal and commercial banking needs,” stated Chief Executive Officer, Robert Ares. “Furthermore, the larger space and prime location is going to afford us the ability to expand services offered to the community, allowing us to offer a full line of banking products.”
The one story building is located near the corner of Poplar and McCord streets, across from several other retail locations including a gas station and a CVS Pharmacy. LLCU will host an official Ground Breaking Ceremony to begin renovation to the building on Tuesday, April 30th at Noon. The new Centralia branch is scheduled to open in early Summer 2019.
