Recognizing our efforts during volunteer week

Every year, National Volunteer Week recognizes those who generously give their time to support a wide variety of causes. As we observed Volunteer Week, from April 7-13, we’ve highlighted the contributions from our staff and encourage others to participate and give back to the community.

On April 10, our Service Delivery management for our Eastern Region took to team-building while volunteering at Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Alexandria, Virginia.

Other volunteer week participation included the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Miler and 5K Run, local school districts Parent/Family Engagement Night, bag lunches and stuffed Easter eggs donation to the Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) Healthy Families Program Play Group Easter Egg Hunt, National Library Week and local schools Career Day.
