South Carolina Federal Credit Union unveiled its newly renovated East Cooper financial center with a breakfast celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony.
The financial center, located at 910 Houston Northcutt Blvd in Mt. Pleasant, was fully upgraded. The 12-month renovation was completed with the assistance of Spivey Architects and Harbor Contracting. In addition to giving the financial center a more modern aesthetic, upgraded security features were installed to improve the member experience. In a nod to the credit union's longstanding, local investment, the member service area features a photographic mural of a shrimp boat dotted Shem Creek.
“We've been a member of the Mt. Pleasant business community since 1989, and we're so proud to continue to serve this vibrant, dynamic town,” said Scott Woods, President and CEO of South Carolina Federal. “During the 30 years we've been in Mt. Pleasant, our members' needs and preferences have changed. This renovation has helped us evolve to provide our members best in class service and modern conveniences they desire today."
Mt. Pleasant Mayor Will Haynie joined Woods and other community leaders for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
