Barbara Brohl has been appointed to join the Elevations Credit Union Board of Directors.

“I am passionate about my work in our Colorado communities,” added Ms. Brohl. “My focus has been on operating excellence and delivering results that benefit customers, businesses, and the public and I look forward to continuing that work with the Elevations Board of Directors.”
Barbara Brohl has served on several boards including the Regional Transportation District (RTD), Statewide Internet Portal Authority, Latinas First Foundation and Denver Employee Retirement Program. She currently is Principal of B J Brohl Strategies, a Government Affairs consulting firm for the legal cannabis industry and implementing governments. Prior, she served as the Executive Director and State Licensing Authority for the Department of Revenue and spent 33 years with Qwest Communications International in various roles. She graduated from Regis University with a degree in Business Management and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver, Strum College of Law.
Ms. Brohl was recently named one of the Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business from the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce in 2019, and has been honored with many other accolades, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association in 2019, the State Executive of the Year Award, National Association of State CIOs in 2017 and a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Center for Legal Inclusiveness in 2017 and Outstanding Women in Business in Finance, Accounting, & Banking Award by the Denver Business Journal in 2015.
