Brian E. Wolfburg, President/CEO of VyStar Credit Union, announced the official opening of VyStar’s 57th branch—their first in Seminole County—at 3055 Alafaya Trail, Oviedo, Florida. VyStar officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on Tuesday, October 8th, at 10:30 a.m., as well as other grand opening festivities through Saturday, October 12th.
Brian Wolfburg says, “We are really excited to be here in Seminole County opening our 57th branch. It means so much to us to grow out from Jacksonville and to be able to serve more people and help them meet their financial needs and their financial goals.”
The Oviedo branch is one of VyStar’s new branch design concepts. The design combines a fresh look with enhanced technology intended to increase efficiency and improve member experience. The Oviedo facility has four teller stations, four member service offices, three drive-thru lanes, one drive- up ATM, and one walk-up ATM providing 24-hour access. Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
David Bergendal serves as the Branch Vice President of VyStar’s Oviedo branch. David has been working in the financial services industry in the Orlando area for 18 years. David decided to make the switch to the credit union industry, beginning his career with VyStar in early 2019. David says, “I worked in banking for many years, and the biggest difference I see with VyStar is our total commitment to the members as well as the employees. I am proud to work for an organization that backs up their vision.” David and his team are excited to be the first VyStar branch in Seminole County and to help grow our brand throughout all of Central Florida.
