On Monday, October 14, 2019, First Capital Federal Credit Union Employees spent Columbus Day by touring the Harley-Davidson Operations Facility in York, Pennsylvania. Staff watched a 10-minute video on the background of Harley-Davidson, and then toured the facility to see all that goes into making the iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
“Every year we use Columbus Day as a day for enrichment, whether it’s team building, training or visiting our Select Employee Groups and other businesses in our community,” said Tara Houser, VP of Marketing and Business Development.
First Capital employees also toured Old Republic Distillery, sampled their product, and listened to a representative from Wellspan’s Employee Assistance Program who talked about how to be part of an effective team, and what goes into being a positive influence in your work environment.
