Wright-Patt Credit Union announces new senior leadership structure

As part of Wright-Patt Credit Union’s (WPCU) commitment to being the best organization its member-owners have ever experienced and the best place its partner-employees have ever worked, WPCU recently made notable changes to its senior leadership structure, including the creation of two new Chief roles: Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.

The changes were made to position WPCU for continued success in better serving its valued members while making the most of the extraordinary skills and talents of its senior leaders.

Newly Created Positions

Chief Administrative Officer: The role of Chief Administrative Officer will be held by Amy Reilly, who enters the role after three years of leadership experience at WPCU and more than 22 years at Standard Register. In this role, Reilly will have executive oversight of human resources, legal, marketing/business development, service excellence, facilities, physical security, maintenance and administrative support.

Chief Strategy Officer: Tim Mislansky will serve in the new role of Chief Strategy Officer. As Chief Strategy Officer, Mislansky will serve as the lead in developing, communicating, executing and sustaining WPCU’s strategic plans and initiatives. Mislansky brings with him more than 18 years of experience as Senior Vice President for WPCU and President of myCUmortgage, a wholly-owned Credit Union Service Organization of WPCU. myCUmortgage empowers credit union partners to be great mortgage lenders through exceptional leadership, comprehensive solutions, expert guidance and partner-focused service, Prior to his role at myCUmortgage, Mislansky served as Vice President of Chaco Credit Union for eight years.

Vice President New Ventures/Member Business Services: Scott Everett will lead a newly expanded role at the credit union as Vice President of New Ventures and Member Business Services. The “New Ventures” aspect of Everett’s role is new for WPCU, designed to help develop new and expanded businesses and support higher value for stakeholders. Everett has five years of experience serving WPCU, as well as over 10 years as an Attorney for Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP.

Market President - Columbus: Earlier this year, WPCU also established a new position for a Columbus Market President, held by Todd Elliott. In this role, Elliott will lead WPCU’s expansion efforts in the Columbus, Ohio market. Elliot joined WPCU after 16 years at JP Morgan Chase where he served as Vice President – Business Banking Area Manager.

Additional Changes

Chief Operating Officer: Rosanne Schutzman will be taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, Schutzman will lead: service delivery, Columbus, Ohio Market, information technology, project management, Retirement Solutions and fraud prevention. Schutzman has served WPCU for more than six years and prior to that worked as Vice President of IT for American Modern Insurance Group for seven years.

President of myCUmortgage: With Tim Mislansky taking on the role of Chief Strategy Officer for WPCU, Tonya Coon will serve as the new President of myCUmortgage, effective January 1, 2020. Coon currently serves myCUmortgage as Executive Vice President with more than six years of experience with myCUmortgage. Her leadership roles include Senior Vice President, Lending Solutions with five years of experience at Prime Alliance/Mortgage Cadence and Vice President of Lending during almost 10 years with MidWest Financial Credit Union.
