Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union is honored to congratulate Tracie Rodriguez, Vice President of Retail Services, for her selection as Prospanica’s Outstanding Member of 2019. The award comes as the result of an extensive partnership between the Rocky Hill credit union and Hispanic networking organization.
Founded in 1988, Prospanica is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Hispanic communities with education and employment opportunities. With Nutmeg, the organization has hosted several business networking events in the last year to help Hispanic members of the community achieve their full educational and economic potential. The Outstanding Member Award is presented annually to a Prospanica Connecticut member who has made significant contributions to the community through dedicated service and impactful leadership. This year, Rodriguez has been recognized for her abilities as a role model as well as her experience in coordinating events with Prospanica.
Rodriguez has been with Nutmeg since 2011. With 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, she manages all aspects of the credit union’s retail functions and DMV Express operations. She is responsible for introducing branch sales and operations strategies to support the credit union’s growth while also prioritizing the member experience. She is most proud of her contributions to the credit union’s community development efforts, which have positively impacted the lives of families across the state by providing credit-building programs, financial education resources and more. Among these initiatives is Nutmeg’s regular collaboration with Prospanica, which Rodriguez leads.
“I’m so proud of the work we do for the community and with Prospanica,” said John Holt, President and CEO of Nutmeg. “We are honored that they chose Tracie as an outstanding member and look forward to working with them more in the future.”
