CASE Credit Union donates $4,500 to Small Talk Children’s Advocacy Center

CASE Credit Union employees have pledged more than $4,500 to Small Talk Children’s Advocacy Center as part of CASE’s third-quarter charity partner.

On Wednesday, October 23, CASE revealed the final total from the past three months of payroll deductions, fundraisers, and special events to Small Talk. A check for $4,503 was presented to the executive director of Small Talk, Alex Brace.

“Whenever we at Small Talk get donations like these, it always gives us hope for each child that we see. These donations are substantial for the work that we do and for the healing of our community,” said Alex Brace, Small Talk’s executive director. “I hope this check will be the beginning of the end of child abuse.”

Small Talk is a nonprofit organization where children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse are interviewed and offered therapy at no cost.

“We are grateful to be a part of a commitment to providing avenues of hope for the children who have experienced a horrific moment in their life,” said Jeffrey Benson, president & CEO of CASE Credit Union. “The thoughtfulness of our employees continuously amazes me and gives me hope that, together, we can help children receive the best support needed to get them through the healing process.”
