Robins Financial Credit Union will be giving back to the community during the holidays with their 25 Days of Holiday Giving. They selected 25 different organizations throughout their county radius to provide a monetary donation to help the organizations with their holiday festivities. The following organizations received a donation during the first week:
- Care Cottage in Forsyth received a $1,000 donation. This organization is designed to be a temporary, non-threatening, child friendly environment so all victims, especially children, can feel safe.
- Middle Georgia Community Food Bank in Macon received a $1,000 donation. This organization is a vital link in the distribution of food to food pantries and reaching the maximum number of hungry neighbors in need.
- Perry Volunteer Outreach in Perry received a $1,000 donation. This organization has a toy program as well as provides food boxes for the community.
- Cherished Children Daycare in Warner Robins received a $1,000 donation. This organization helps to make the holidays a little brighter for children that attend the daycare.
- Baldwin County Meals on Wheels in Milledgeville received a $1,000 donation. This organization provides food assistance.
- Family Promise of Greater Houston County in Warner Robins received a $1,000 donation. This organization is helping to end homelessness, one family at a time.
- Senior Center in Gray received a $1,000 donation. This organization assists the elderly and homebound residents.
