Credit Union Invests In Shelby Township and Opens New Office Office Represents $4MM Ongoing Commitment to Shelby Township
FreeStar Financial Credit Union held a soft opening for its newest branch at 56350 Van Dyke Avenue in Shelby Township, south of 26 Mile Road. In the first several days, members were welcomed, transactions completed, and the staff became familiar with the new operation.
The new state-of-the-art branch features the latest innovative banking technology and offers members more choices and convenience. The Shelby Township staff represent a combined 44 years of progressive member service focused on meeting member financial needs. The 2600-square-foot facility is a full-service financial institution with checking, savings, mortgages, personal and auto loans and much more. When a member enters the newest branch location, they find a welcoming environment featuring four walk-up teller pods for personalized service. Two Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in the drive-thru lanes provides members with an all-weather convenience to perform advanced self-service transactions or to video chat with credit union representatives during service hours. The branch also has a lounge area, coffee bar, and technology café providing members to access advanced self-services at the available computer workstations and iPads to perform banking transactions.
Three member service offices are staffed to personally assist members with their banking needs. Member service representatives are trained to craft solutions to fit individual needs and provide competitive savings and lending options. Shelby Township residents will appreciate the service that real estate lending experts provide throughout the financing process, and they’ll have familiar local branch representatives serving them throughout the life of their loan.
