Addition Financial Chief Development Officer Linh Dang to receive UCF College of Business Honorable Knight Award

This February, the UCF College of Business will recognize Linh Dang, Addition Financial’s Chief Development Officer, with the Honorable Knight Award. The award honors alumni with more than 10 years of experience who have displayed excellence in their respective career paths. Linh, who received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from UCF in 1993, will be recognized at the 2020 College of Business Hall of Fame gala in Orlando.

Since she first joined the Addition Financial team in 2003, Linh has held a variety of leadership positions at the credit union, and currently oversees the Community Engagement & Partnerships, Leadership & Talent Development, Marketing, and Project Management departments. Most recently, she oversaw the credit union’s rebrand from CFE Federal Credit Union in 2019, which not only involved a name change but also the transition from a federal to state charter.

Linh has led several corporate culture initiatives to empower credit union employees and improve product knowledge training, job shadowing opportunities, and professional development within the organization. She has also successfully led the credit union through multiple mergers.

In 2019, Linh was recognized by i4 Business with the Business Leader of the Year Award, CUES (Credit Union Executive Society) with the Exceptional Leader Award, and Valencia College with the Distinguished Alumni Award. She was also recognized by the Orlando Business Journal in 2018 at the Women Who Mean Business Awards as a Business Executive of the Year. Linh serves as a board member for the UCF Alumni Board, Valencia Foundation Board and Junior Achievement of Central Florida, and works in a variety of other advisory board roles within Central Florida.
