XCEL Federal Credit Union welcomes Greg Panek as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Greg has over seven years of experience in the financial industry, including working for Morgan Stanley and most recently working for NCUA as a principal examiner with emphasis on Capital Markets.
“We are very excited to have Greg join our Team as Chief Financial Officer.” said President/CEO, Arlene Bernard. “Greg brings a wealth of experience and passion for the credit union movement. XCEL FCU has been building a solid foundation for growth and we can’t wait to continue our momentum with Greg on board.”
As Vice President/CFO, he will direct the organization’s financial plans, establish policies and procedures to safeguard the organization’s assets and report the operating results of the credit union to both the board and regulators in compliance with both GAAP and Federal rules and regulations. “I am very happy to join XCEL and I look forward to working with the XCEL team to continue to grow the Credit Union" said Greg Panek.
Greg graduated from Seton Hall and is currently working on an MBA in finance and is also in the process of becoming a CFA Charterholder.
