Arbor Financial Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of Kyle Townsend as the organization’s Mortgage Loan Originator. A familiar face in the area, Townsend has resided in Kalamazoo for the past 31 years. Townsend comes to Arbor Financial with 24 years of experience in mortgage lending. Since 1997, Townsend has been a member of the Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS (GKAR), where he has served on the Education Committee. Townsend previously served on the board for the Kalamazoo Neighboring Housing Services as vice president.
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, Townsend will be networking and promoting the Arbor Financial brand in the real estate community throughout all of South West Michigan, in addition to mortgage origination. September Kirvan, Director of Mortgage Operations, says, “Kyle brings many years of mortgage lending experience to Arbor Financial Credit Union and I look forward to working with him. The whole mortgage team is very excited by this addition.” Townsend is well versed in Conventional FHA/VA Government, Rural Development, and Jumbo Loans. Additionally, he specializes in first time home buyers, vacation or second home seekers, and to people who have moved numerous times.
Townsend notes that he enjoys the team camaraderie that Arbor Financial projects. “Any question that I may have, my Arbor team members are more than willing to help get the answer for me. I like that they make me feel that my opinion counts,” explains Townsend. After helping people get into homes for more than 24 years, Townsend says he is excited to work at Arbor Financial because of their commitment to members and broad products that have the ability to fit everyone’s personal mortgage needs.
