Desert Financial Credit Union has promoted Cathy Graham to the role of Executive Vice President, reporting directly to the CEO. She served prior as SVP, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer.
Along with marketing and strategy, Graham will now oversee all retail operations, including the branches and external member services.
“Cathy has had a very successful career with us since she joined our team in 2006,” said Jeff Meshey, President and CEO of Desert Financial. “In addition to her expertise in advertising and marketing, she has been instrumental in creating our new brand, our revised strategic direction and the relaunch of our mission, vision and values. She is a strong leader and is committed to making our organization even more successful as we enter our ninth decade in business.”
Graham was recently honored as the Phoenix Business Journal’s Chief Marketing Officer of the Year (2019) and currently serves as the President of the Board for Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona.
She has already begun her duties in the new role.
