San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®) has moved the SDCCU Biggest Used Car Sale scheduled for this weekend at Del Mar Fairgrounds to participating San Diego and Escondido Penske Automotive Group dealerships. The sale will take place this weekend during regular dealer hours and includes an opportunity for patrons to enter for a chance to win a new 2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid, or a 2020 Mazda CX-5. In light of the COVID‐19/Coronavirus situation, SDCCU and Penske felt it was prudent for the safety of the community and our employees that the sale be moved from the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
All inventory can be viewed online at sdccu.com, and then vehicles can be purchased at their designated dealership. The sale will feature more than 500 late-model, low-mileage cars, trucks, SUVs, hybrids and luxury vehicles. As a precautionary measure, all vehicles have been cleaned. Trade-ins are welcome, so SDCCU encourages the public to bring their vehicle whether it’s paid for or not. For those who qualify, special financing, generous terms and low rates will be available. SDCCU representatives will be onsite at each dealer location. For more information, visit sdccu.com.
Those who visit participating San Diego and Escondido Penske Automotive Group dealerships this weekend can also enter for a chance to win a brand new 2020 Toyota Camry Hybrid, or a 2020 Mazda CX-5. For more information and official sweepstakes rules visit sdccu.com/other/sweepstakes/.
In addition to moving the SDCCU Biggest Used Car Sale, SDCCU is taking several other precautionary measures to ensure the safety of staff and the community in light of the COVID-19 virus. As a financial service provider, maintaining the trust of our customers, and providing them accessibility to their funds and financial products and services when, where and how they need them is a top priority. This is especially important during times of uncertainty such as those we are observing with the Coronavirus situation.
Normal SDCCU operating hours remain in full effect at this time. However, SDCCU is proactively doing its part to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases by postponing all SDCCU seminars and Financial Wellness Wednesdays programs or hosting them on virtual platforms when possible. Orders of antibacterial supplies have been increased in SDCCU branches and staff has been educated on proper hand washing techniques and best practices from the Centers for Disease control (www.cdc.gov). This includes eliminating handshakes and replacing them with respectful fist bumps, elbow bumps or waves and friendly smiles.
As an essential public service, we take seriously our responsibility to remain open for many reasons, including that of public safety. SDCCU also encourages everyone to access their account 24/7 using SDCCU Internet Branch online and mobile banking to check balances, pay bills, deposit checks, transfer funds and more. The new online banking platform launched late last year includes many new enhancements to make remote banking easier and more convenient.
Our thoughts go out to anyone who is directly impacted by this situation. With the help of staff and customers, it is expected all of us will minimize the potential of a Coronavirus impact on our daily lives.
