MSUFCU employees donate more than $44,600 to charity partners in first quarter of 2020

Employees at MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) raised $44,627 for local charitable organizations during the first three months of 2020, in keeping with the Credit Union’s mission of giving back to the community.

Each year, Credit Union employees select four local charities to support through a yearlong fundraising initiative. This year’s charities are: Capital Area United Way and Helping Women Period, each in Lansing; HQ Runway and Homeless Youth Drop-In Center in Kent County; and Oakland County Animal Shelter. Each organization received $11,156.

“Now more than ever, these organizations need our support,” said Silvia Dimma, MSUFCU Chief Human Resources Officer. “Many nonprofits are struggling to meet clients’ needs all while having to cancel crucial fundraising events. We are proud of our employees for providing continued assistance to our charity partners as we are all in this together.”
