Canvas Credit Union will be taking steps to reopen the majority of it full-service branch lobbies with newly implemented safety measures, designed to ensure the wellness of members and family members (employees) alike. The transformation will include guidelines for safe entry and exit of their lobbies, signage to direct and limit foot traffic and help keep 6 ft. distances between their members, facial coverings for Canvas employees, cleaning protocols, and clear communication on safety guidelines and best practices. Canvas will also be providing vulnerable members personal appointments who may need one-on-one consultation away from others.
"The safety of our members and our internal family is paramount to our operations," said Chris Chippindale, Canvas Credit Union's Chief Operations Officer. "Canvas has assessed in detail how we can continue to support our community while ensuring we remain steadfast in our health efforts. And while all of our remote services and drive-thru options will always be available for our members, we believe we now have a strong approach that supports wellness in our lobbies, too.
As an essential business, it's crucial Canvas continue to ensure its members have access to their finances all while providing a safe and helpful environment. During this time, it's more important than ever for the credit union to ensure the protection of members while providing the services they need. These enhanced health and wellness focused protocols support Canvas' lobbies re-opening safely and with the care that Coloradoans have come to rely on Canvas for. Canvas strives to help lead the way for financial institutions providing the safe environment people deserve.
