VyStar announces reopening of branch lobbies following COVID-19 guidelines

VyStar Credit Union today announced that they will begin to reopen select branch lobbies on May 18th, with all lobbies opening by May 26th.  Lobby access will be limited as VyStar follows a phased approach similar to Florida’s strategy for loosening social distancing restrictions while still closely following state and federal guidelines.

VyStar’s Executive Vice President/COO, Chad Meadows, says, “Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, we never stopped serving our members. We adjusted our processes and found ways to accommodate almost all transactions via drive-thru lanes at most branches. We now plan to carefully transition back to normal operations which will include some modifications.”

VyStar encourages members to visit www.vystarcu.org/coronavirus to find individual branch reopening dates, hours of operation and detailed information on the measures being taken to ensure members and employees remain safe and healthy.

Meadows adds, “We are eager to see our members in our branch lobbies again, but we want to move forward carefully, making sure we remain focused on the health of our members and employees while also providing the best possible service.”

VyStar members can continue to access their accounts online 24/7 via Internet & Mobile Banking. In addition to digital services, VyStar offers more than 20,000 surcharge-free ATMs at retailers such as Walgreens, CVS®, Target, Costco®, Speedway® and Jacksonville-area Daily’s locations. VyStar’s more than 230 stand-alone ATMs are also free to members.
