Royal Credit Union has announced Paul Stednitz as VP of Retail Operations. In this role, Stednitz is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan to provide an exceptional member experience for retail operations. He will focus on building high performing teams and leading efficient branches to provide consistency in processes, relationship building and member experiences across all branches.
Stednitz has 25 years of retail banking experience with credit unions and community banks where he developed and facilitated member experience models that led to positive outcomes through engaged teams. He designed and launched a branch of the future with new branch layouts, new technologies, and the universal employee model. Stednitz holds his bachelor of Finance from Chico State University, an Advanced Degree from Pacific Coast Banking School, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Golden Gate University.
A very active community member, Stednitz was the President of the Rotary Club of Bend, Oregon, Campaign chair of his local United Way, President of Downtown Merchant Association, Planned giving Chair with SW WA Free Clinic. He has been a Board Member of his Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation, Hospital Foundation, Boys and Girls Club, Tower Theater Foundation, and a founding Board Member of the Oregon Winterfest.
Stednitz currently lives in Vancouver, WA with his wife Leslie and son Brandon. They look forward to relocating to the Chippewa Valley soon.
