Lauren Kotlarczyk has been named Assistant Vice President of Community Development at MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU). She oversees the Credit Union’s Business Development, Community Development, and Financial Education departments in Greater Lansing and Oakland County.
Kotlarczyk joined MSUFCU in 2009 as a Marketing intern, then moved to other roles at the Credit Union within theInternal and Corporate Communications, Community Relations, Marketing and Communications, and Community Development departments.
“Lauren continues to be a strong asset to MSUFCU,” said Whitney Anderson Harrell, MSUFCU Chief Community Development Officer. “She has helped lead efforts in business development by expanding opportunities through our Local Loyalty program; community development by growing our relationships with local organizations we support; and financial education department by increasing the number of presentations made to community members of all ages free of cost.”
Kotlarczyk is an active community volunteer and is involved with various credit union sector programs. She has served as board chair for Young Professional Alzheimer’s Advocates of Lansing, team captain of the Members Development Company NextUP program, a member of the Michigan Children’s Savings Account Network Policy Committee, and mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Kotlarczykearned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and is a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor through the Credit Union National Association.
