Badger-Globe Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Annie Hutter as its new President and CEO, effective July 2, 2022. Hutter replaces former CEO Carla Watson, who is retiring after nearly 37 years of dedicated service to the credit union and its members.
Annie has served as Badger-Globe's Vice President of Support Services since 2021 and has more than 11 years of credit union experience. As a longtime member with both parents having worked at Kimberly-Clark - a company with a rich history with the credit union - Annie originally joined BGCU in 2008 as a teller and was promoted to a role where she oversaw critical operations for IT and accounting. Her subsequent career path led her to other credit unions, where she gained experience with diverse business strategies and growth. For five years she served as president of the Fox Cities Chapter of the Wisconsin Credit Union League.
Hutter believes the future is bright for the Neenah-based financial cooperative. Speaking on her vision for the nearly $57 million credit union, she says, “We certainly have our challenges ahead of us – the economic uncertainty that may be around the corner will push us to continue adapting our business strategy accordingly.” “However,” she continues, “I understand what makes us different and intend to preserve what makes us “us” while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement. Our members and our core purpose will remain at the center of every strategic decision we’ll make – just as it’s always been, and I look forward to making a positive impact on the future of our credit union.”
