The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues would like to congratulate Diana Dykstra, president and CEO of the Leagues, for stepping into the honorable role of board chair for the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) during the third day of the 2022 World Credit Union Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
Earlier today, Dykstra received the chain of office in front of 1,500 conference participants on the main stage. She is the second female board chair to lead the World Council. She joined the WOCCU Board of Directors in 2016, serving as treasurer from 2017 – 2020 and vice chair/secretary from 2021 – 2022.
“I want to thank you for this honor,” Dykstra said as she addressed general session attendees. “I look forward to working with you in the coming year. Thank you so much.”
Dykstra will serve as board chair for a two-year term through July 2024.
The Leagues would like to thank Dykstra for her determined and unwavering service to the credit union movement in California, Nevada, the United States, and the international community.
