Point to Point and Zero Gravity partner to celebrate Hunger Action Month

$1 is donated to the Vermont foodbank for every conehead sold at Zero Gravity in September

The Point to Point, powered by VSECU, and Zero Gravity are teaming up during September to celebrate Hunger Action Month and help fight hunger in Vermont. For every Conehead IPA sold at their Burlington beer hall, Zero Gravity will donate $1 to the Point to Point, an annual cycling event and fundraiser that benefits the Vermont Foodbank.

The Point to Point will be at Zero Gravity’s Pine Street location on Thursday, September 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

“We are thrilled to have Zero Gravity on board as a sponsor for the 2023 Point to Point,” said Simeon Chapin, head of social impact at VSECU, a division of New England Federal Credit Union. “With $1.5 million in unbudgeted expenses due to the July floods, the Vermont Foodbank can use our support to help feed families in Vermont. We are excited to bring our community together on September 7 to raise funds—and a glass—to help fight hunger.”

“Zero Gravity is honored to be a sponsor for Point to Point this year.” said Emma Shea, Marketing Lead at ZG. “Our community and landscape are the backbone of our business, and we are honored that we can be a small part of these efforts to help feed the communities in our beloved home state.”

The 2023 Point to Point, powered by VSECU, will take place on Saturday, September 23, in Montpelier. Participants can choose among bike rides ranging from 10 to 110 miles, and the entire community is invited to enjoy music, food trucks, and lawn games on the State House Lawn.
