Consumers Credit Union is excited to welcome the newest members of the team, including Training Manager Jonathan Collier and Katy Meverden, office manager of the Walker location in Grand Rapids.
As training manager, Collier will work to deliver high-quality, impactful training opportunities to Consumers team members to support and equip them with the skills to provide the high level of service that the credit union is known for.
With more than 10 years of experience in similar roles, Collier has assessed hundreds of training and leadership development programs, continually improving his approach and working to understand the most effective and impactful methods.
“I have utilized multiple learning theories and gained a deep understanding of what it takes to create programs that foster an environment of learning and growth, while maintaining a fun and welcoming experience for all,” said Collier. “I look forward to putting this knowledge to work for the Consumers team and its incredible members.”
Upon graduating from Wayne State University, Meverden spent more than a decade leading teams in various fields, including the financial industry, and spent some time as a mortgage loan officer. Walker’s new office manager is ready to put her skills to work for the Grand Rapids community.
In her new role with the credit union, Meverden will lead and work with her team to provide world-class services for Consumers’ membership.
“I’m eager to get involved and build a strong foundation of trust within the Grand Rapids market,” said Meverden. “I look forward to helping our members achieve their financial goals and increasing the impact on the communities we serve.”
