Orange County’s Credit Union, a Santa Ana-based financial services provider with more than 130,000 Members, is proud to announce its 85th anniversary and the upcoming Member Appreciation Week. This significant milestone not only marks eight and a half decades of providing simple banking—for people, not profit—but also signifies a week-long celebration dedicated to its valued Members.
Kicking off on Monday, November 13, Orange County’s Credit Union will host its Member Appreciation Week, a cherished tradition at the Credit Union and will serve as a highlight of this year’s anniversary celebration. Members are invited to visit their local branch for a week of exclusive perks, exciting contests, and fun as a token of appreciation.
“As we celebrate 85 years of service, Orange County’s Credit Union remains dedicated to transforming the banking experience for our Members. This year, the Credit Union surpassed 130,000 Members and $2.5 billion in assets,” said Kathy Jumper, President and CEO. “To commemorate this monumental occasion, we cordially invite our valued Members to join us during Member Appreciation Week as our way of saying 'thank you' for the opportunity to serve you. As a Member-centric financial institution, we are committed to serving you in every way, every day, for years to come.”
Throughout its history, Orange County’s Credit Union has cultivated strong relationships with its Members, maintaining an unwavering commitment to improving lives through financial solutions. From humble beginnings serving county government employees, the Credit Union has grown to welcome Members from Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Additionally, Orange County’s Credit Union has expanded its Member-centric financial products and services, including loans, credit cards, and checking accounts, and most recently, announced the expansion of its suite of checking account offerings with the introduction of two new options: Access Checking and Plus Checking.
Orange County’s Credit Union not only serves its Members but also actively contributes to the community. Associates are encouraged to engage in community activities with paid volunteer hours, including financial education workshops, city outreach programs, and local charitable events. In addition, the Credit Union proudly backs various charities and organizations like Children's Miracle Network "Credit Union for Kids," Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), Friendly Center, and more, highlighting its dedication to community outreach and service, particularly for those in underserved communities.
