Lisa Barshinger, Community & Business Development Manager at First Capital Federal Credit Union, was honored as one of Central Penn Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 for her commitment to business growth, professional excellence, and the community.
In 2011, Lisa joined the First Capital team as the Business Development Representative. In that role, Lisa worked with our Preferred Business Partners to educate their employees about the Credit Union benefit. Twelve years later, Lisa’s role has grown to incorporate financial education in businesses and schools; running our FirstCap Gives Back program which includes all sponsorships and community involvement; and planning our events.
Lisa is involved in various community organizations. She is the President of the Foundation for the West York Area School District, is an ambassador for the York County Economic Alliance, and is a member of the Women’s Business Center Organization. She is a longtime volunteer for Junior Achievement and Hospice & Community Care. On the personal side, Lisa is currently working with a team to develop a PTO for the Red Lion Area Junior High and is serving as Vice President of the Red Lion Aquatic Club.
“I am very honored to be chosen for this award,” said Lisa Barshinger. “I am fortunate to work for First Capital Federal Credit Union. It is a company which affords me the opportunity to grow personally, as well as professionally.”
