The staff at Blue Eagle Credit Union has collectively donated more than $42,000 to
local teachers since 2016. The team of 70 can voluntarily pay to wear jeans on Fridays, which funds the Blue Eagle Credit Union Teacher Grant program.
Annually, on average, teachers contribute $500 out of their own pockets for classroom supplies. This stat prompted the Blue Eagle Credit Union team to take action. Each Fall it opens up the Teacher Grant application for local teachers to apply for up to $500 to assist with classroom projects that positively impact students. The number of grants and the dollars awarded differ each year, but the impact is always incredible and much appreciated by local educators.
Watch each recipient’s story at BlueEagleCreditUnion.com. The Teacher Grant award projects are unique and creative, and make learning more engaging – giving students tools for success in school and beyond. Some projects
will benefit students in years to come as well, multiplying the impact for students,
schools, and our community.
