Lifelong Southern California resident, and Premier America Credit Union’s Regional Director, Sierra Gutierrez will be honored by the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce as one of the region’s 40 Under Forty Honorees this summer.
The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest chambers in California with over 700 members, serving the cities of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Agoura Hills.
“Sierra (Gutierrez) embodies all the values of Premier America both in her day-to-day work with the credit union and in her commitment to her community,” said Rudy Pereira, Premier America Credit Union President and CEO. “The community and our team are the direct beneficiaries of her dedication to doing good by doing right.”
Premier America Credit Union, one of California’s largest credit unions, has over 20 branches in Southern California and Houston, Texas. Formed in 1957, the not-for-profit financial cooperative has roots throughout the community and is the Official Credit Union Partner of California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
In her role, Gutierrez is responsible for multiple branches throughout the Conejo Valley as well as overseeing the CSUN partnership. “As a proud graduate of California State University, Channel Islands (CSUCI), I am the result of our education system and access to resources here in Southern California. I am passionate about maintaining the quality of life here and ensuring access to education and the financial well-being of our community,” Gutierrez said.
Joining Premier America in 2009, Gutierrez received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business (with a minor in economics) in 2008 and earned her Master of Business Administration in 2010; both from CSUCI.
Currently serving her fifth term on the Board of Directors of United Way of Ventura County, the impact of Gutierrez’s work is felt throughout the community.
